The AeroChamber Plus Z STAT anti-static Valved Holding Chamber or aVHC can be used in a hospital setting or in the comfort of the patient's home. This was one of the earlier valved holding chamber designs which is still relevant due to the easy of use of the device. For years AeroChamber has been a choice for hospitals as it combines cost efficiency with a patient-centric design featuring an optimized respirable drug dose. Different chambers deliver different amounts of medication.1 The AeroChamber Plus Z STAT aVHC provides a consistent dose of medication substantially equivalent to the MDI dose.2 Designed to respond to shallow or low volume breathing patterns, the extra-sensitive inhalation valve on the AeroChamber Plus Z STAT aVHC makes it easier for patients to inhale the medication. Available in Convenient Sizes: Chamber Only | 79750 Chamber with Small Mask | 88710Z Chamber with Medium Mask | 78710Z Chamber with Large Mask | 80710Z Directions: Fit the front piece of the mask on the end of the chamber and twist firmly until securely locked into position. Center the Alignment Feature on the back piece with the Flow-Vu Inspiratory Flow Indicator. Press firmly to attach the back piece. Cleaning: Remove back-piece only. Soak 15 minutes in soapy water, agitate gently and rinse or place in dishwasher on top rack. Dishwasher instructions can be found with the complete instructions packaged with your AeroChamber Plus Z STAT aVHC. Shake out water and dry vertically. Reassemble pieces. The AeroChamber Plus Z STAT aVHCshould be cleaned weekly. Hold the rubber end and twist the chamber to remove the back piece. Soak these parts with the mask, if used, for 15 minutes in a mild solution of liquid dish detergent and warm water. Stir gently. Rinse and allow to air dry. You may also clean the chamber on the top rack of your dishwasher. Secure it so that it is in a vertical position. It is not recommended that you boil the chamber.
